Transformers 3 + boots

Soooo today I finally celebrated my boyfriend's birthday since he was sick ALL WEEK and we couldn't go anywhere, but today he felt a bit better (yay!) so he drove us down to Beverly Hills cinema for Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon (?) in 3D. I have read reviews and read about how bad Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was. So, I braced myself for horrible acting, but she was actually alright. I mean I wouldn't know, I was sorta more interested in dat ass. I mean shes just there (thanks Michael Bay) for the looks right? She had like a total of 10 lines or something and all she had to do was look pretty, run, scream and cry or whatever. She's there strutting around in her heels, driving that $$$$$$$$$ car and little tight dresses which allow you to see the crevices of her skin. But anyways, she's not ass bad ass (pun/typo intended) described even though her voice was kinda annoying. People with an English accent sounds smart no mater what they say (Russell Brand) but she didn't sound any smarter. Okay, back to the movie, I rate it... 5/10. To be honest I didn't really get it, but the 3D and graphics and effects or what have you were pretty good and I guess most of the story made sense... but only because I could predict it.

Her thumbs aren't that much better than Megan Fox's but at least she's natural

And I noticed that she had a tattoo... I thought Victoria Secrets Angels can't have tattoos? Or is that not true?

Oh and is Beverly Hills Cinemas like... stealing off Greater Union/Event Cinemas or something? Why does it say Event Cinemas when it's ad time?? Whatever, it is alot cheaper and the popcorn is pretty great.

Anyways, when I'm out and about, I've been hunting for black combat/military boots. I have a pair of ones by Therapy Shoes and I have never tried on another pair that fits the same or is as comfy (even other styles by Therapy). The style is called Corporal and it's on their website for only $30 now !!! (originally $70) but I need a size 8 and they only have 9 and 10. Amidst all this, I've been wearing the pair I have a lot and then this happened:

I WAS SO DEVASTATED. I even tweeted about it. I was on the brink of crying. I was.. okay. I know, it's just a hook but it is so hard to find a comfy shoe. It is just amazing. So if ANYONE knows WHERE THIS STYLE IS STOCKED I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW PLEASE. I bought this pair for $50 but I'd pay $70 for it. That's saying a lot for an asian bargain hunter like me okay? I'm going to wear these until it is unwearable. The only style/brand that is similar to this boot is Mooloola or something which is sold in City Beach and they have one similar to this but unfortunately the sole is not as comfortable and I didn't want to buy it for $40 and wear it in because the Therapy pair didn't have to be worn in. It was comfy from day 1.

Oh well, I bought another pair of boots today, I saw them for $10 at Kmart so I thought why not! :)

RRP $19 which is REALLY CHEAP already

They are shiny and black and I don't have any shoes with this texture. Also, I just thought it would be good for work cos I tried wearing flats a couple of times and it just made my feet sore. And I think these would look okay with skinny jeans at work and stockings when I go out :).

Hi everyone! Haven't been blogging because I have nothing to blog about. What a fail blogger. But lately I've been on the net alot and I just wanted to include some interesting links for you guys (since I've been boring... :( ) Anyways today I found a flickr user who does really cute typographics! :)

The Notebook Doodles is so cute and creative! I wish I was half as creative!! I mean I don't draw or anything and I can't even write neat ahaha. So I like looking at his/her typographics and photos. If I ever do get a camera I swear I'll take a lot of photos and blog about it :D

My fruit ninja high score in arcade mode is 803 ;)

A blog that I wanted to share is The Dainty Squid who's this bright and creative (another creative being! I feel so bland LOL) female and her blog is just so pretty to look at! I absolutely adore her photos and her photography skills <3 From her I discovered the burning house which lets people submit a photo which answers the question: what would you take from your burning house? By doing this, you can see that everyone has a different point of view. Everyone has different priorities. Everyone has a different personality. And also that people have some interesting things in their house! :)

How do you manage to take all these things??

I've been thinking about it, and I have no idea what to take!! I want to take everything! I mean, I need clothes don't I?? And what's the point of taking my laptop, for example, if my house is burnt down. I'd have no internet. I'd guess I'd take my work clothes and a few dresses..and... coats.. and my favourite bags... OH AND MY GUITAR. Hmmm....

Hey hey! So Dianna Agron wrote a blog post about this on her tumblr and she said

I was not raised in a family that accepted prejudice or hatred. For that, I thank my Mom and Dad each and every day. Look, we are human, we make mistakes. I will gladly shout from the rooftops that I AM NOT PERFECT. Nor will I ever be. But I can happily say that to my knowledge, I do not ever intentionally cause people pain. I love my family, my friends, my co-workers…and they all consist of girls AND boys. I do tell them that I love them. Yesterday, during our second show, Instead of wearing my usual shirt during “Born This Way” I decided to wear one that said “Likes Girls”. It should actually have read, “Loves Girls”, because I do. The women in my life give me things that the men in my life can’t. And vice-versa. No, I am not a lesbian, yet if I were, I hope that the people in my life could embrace it whole-heartedly. And let me tell you, I can easily spill (quite comfortably) what I admire, respect and think is beautiful about any of the women in my life. Piece of cake!

She wrote a lot more, but that part sorta clears the air about what it means about her sexuality - not that it mattered. (okay.. it mattered to me. A little. Sorry to the boyfriend. Ha.) but just by reading that, how can you NOT LIKE her? She is so beautiful and talented, and she has a critical mind, a logical mind and a just mind. Words can't really describe how much I admire her... :')

I'm FREEE!! for a month or so! ahaha. I still have work and all that, but I don't have to worry about studying or assignments! YEE!

Since it's winter and all, I'm not that excited about the holidays but I do have a list of things to do :)

Really short product review: Rubi shoes nail polishes

So I bought two of these purely cos of the colour. Which I already written about in another post.
So I'm applying them again today, and the smell really got to me and my mum. The smell of these nail polishes are absolutely horrid. It is so strong that it makes us nauseous! I'm not sure what it is but I'm thinking of getting rid of them. And they are really sheer - I have to apply around 4 coats of the blue one for it to look good.

Yup. Not buying them again. I don't even want to use them again ==;;

I didn't even want to do a product review, but yeh, there we go. It's just that bad LOL.

Okay, a Nikon DSLR is not squishy, but I would love to own one and treat it like my baby. I don't know much about cameras or DSLRs but I'm willing to learn when I have one! People will probably go.. why would you want a DSLR for? Just get a normal camera! Well I do know the focusing is a lot different of DSLRs, the photos look different, and you can stand DSLRs on almost anything for a tripod. Also, the reason I'm willing to spend a bit on a DSLR is because the only camera I have at the moment... is on my phone. And the flash isn't great! My phone is the Nokia N97, and the Nokia N96 camera was a bit better, in my opinion. And also, it makes a really really loud noise when you take a photo... how embarassing!

And so this is the one I want, the Nikon (pronounced Neye-kun.. I didn't know that LOL) D5100, successor of the D5000 and features a swivel screen! It's around 16MP and it has almost any entry-level (aka NOOB) photographer needs! It's better than the D3100, and so it's more expensive, because the D3100 is the most basic camera of the current range (I think). Then follows the D5100, which I'm willing to spend a bit more on :D.

I really can't wait to get it! :) I might do like a photo challenge and the 365 day thing (which is QUITE a long time... 365 days...) But I'll see! I can't wait to get my hands on a DSLR! :)

The D5000 is the model I wanted before.

Now, I'm not a baker, but since mum is in the kitchen so much, you guys should bake her something! :) My bestfriend is cake-savvy and made these for us for Easter!! :) I would steal her picture, but here's just a photo of my own little cupcake LOL.

D.B. Shan is a pseudonym for Darren Shan who I think a lot of people know. I haven't read his books and I decided to give this adult fiction novel a try.

Does anyone have any other books they would like to recommend to me? I really liked Dan Brown's Digital Fortress, I used to read Meg Cabot alot (wow that just narrows it down to anything LOL)

I think I'll be interested into books about crime, an inspirational book maybe? and MAYBE something about love. I don't know. I need to just build my vocabulary and expression of language and do something proactive (is that even the right word? (see what I mean)) whilst spending 50 mins of travel to uni.

My favourite fashion magazine (wow, didn't even do a segue there ninhkinpoop) would have to be Fashion Journal... which is FOR FREE from retailers. I got mine from work, and another from uberstore at the city but I have to find where they have the current issues! So if you know please tell me because I absolutely love everything in those magazines. Here's the site if you're interested. You can also view the magazine online, but I like to keep it with me and collect them :)

Multi-pastel-coloured nails :)

so here's the blue and the purple that I used on my nails. I picked these up because these colours are just soo pretty and they're on sale right now at Cotton On [Kim Nail Polish]! They're $2 while the other colours are $4.95 (original price) I'm not sure why because these colours are the prettiest. Anyways they really give off a strong bad smell when you're applying it and even when it's drying! It makes me worry why it's so strong. It says made in China. =/ hmm. Well it's not as consistent as you can get, but if you really try, you can see in my photo, it's pretty consistent.

The blue is called Sky and it took 4 coats to get that colour to be that intense! 4 COATS! and it was really stinky ><

The purple is called Purple Haze and it took 3 coats to get that colour.

They must be topped with a top coat or they'll chip really easily.

This is okay for $2 I guess. But I've bought Ulta3 before for $2 and it was a little bit better in the consistency and chip-resistant aspet. So I wouldn't buy it at full price. The green on my nails is pretty good and that was $3 original price and it's like 4 for $10. It's from Morning Glory and it's made in Korea.

Oh yeah, another thing I bought from Morning Glory is the nail polish remover. It's scented! I bought the fruit scent and omg, you can get high from that! It's a lovely smell, and it was only $2 at the time (it's $4 now) so you can check it out if you like cos it's made in Korea as well :).

These were handpainted and are on sale on etsy! It's pretty hard to believe they're handpainted though... like look at the colours and the little details! I didn't even know you can paint on that material! (Suede/leather/faux leather). Omg Love. Link to the flickr. Link to the etsy.

Netbook wireless connectivity problems :(

Soo my netbook keeps disconnecting from wireless internet /wifi/wlan and I'm getting pretty frustrated and angry at it!
Info:
- Netbook: Gateway LT3106a
- Running on Windows 7 Home Premium 32x
- Atheros AR5B95 Wireless Network Adapter

* I have already tried updating the driver several times

So I would connect, and after a while, it would disconnect but reconnect automatically.
This happens randomly, there's no pattern as I can tell. Sometimes I can use it for an hour or more before that happens, but other times it can be a couple of minutes before it disconnects again.
Thing is, it's not my router, because it happens to me when I use the internet at uni as well.
Also, my other laptop works fine at home - hasn't had disconnecting problems at all.
Proximity to the router/signal strength doesn't change/help this in any way.
It's fine when using ethernet.

=/ I wonder if anyone has any answers.
It is really getting to me and I really don't recommend buying anything from Harvey Norman because this is not the first problem I've had with this product and with buying things from the store.

I tried these on today and I was uberrrrr tall!! omg! it was pretty hard to walk in I guess and it wasnt as comfy as the Tony Bianco ones I've tried on before but it's definately way cheaper at $89. I wish they didnt have much of a platform :( I wish it was plain wedge and grey wouldnt be bad, but this can be a spring colour as well :)

Hey there! how are you today? I'm sick at the moment so I'm just sitting in my room >< and plus people came over like unannounced and I think that's so rude - like what do you want us to feed you? Why are you here? Like I know my dad owes their family when he went overseas and they fed him but it was really like a one off thing (or maybe a couple of times) but we've been feeding these people so much and we used a lot of money and their family is richer than ours so I don't see how we still owe them anything. I know that friends are supposed to look out for each other but don't take advantage of my courteousity (as youtuber luanlegacy says).

Talking about youtube I just wanted to list my favourite youtube channels or whatever, like the people I watch incase you get bored and you sorta want something different to watch. :) I don't know, I like making lists xD

- Natalie Tran's communitychannel: pro at video editing and her funny takes on everyday activities. I love her wacky mind ;D

- ItsKingsleyBitch: a guy who rants on things in society like overexposed/overrated celebrities and trends and he is just so funny because most of the things are true. (I mean even though you disagree with him, he's still funny xD) *note: he is putting on a persona. Another ranter is luanlegacy

- RayWilliamJohnson: I think I'll put him in comedy - he reviews videos but you can tell hes kinda a nice person. He reviews 3 viral clips per video that gets sent in to him or that are new/popular and so you're really watching 3 youtube/internet videos in one of his.

- mychonny/yourchonny: mychonny is his vlog i think, and yourchonny is his comedic channel. That guy is crazy and normally I don't like people who are too crazy like.. wtf? but he's funny to watch :) (yes this person's asian)

- Ryan Higa's nigahiga: you have to know who this guy is or you're missing out big time my friend. (this person is asian too)

- kevjumba: he was on the American the amazing race with his father. He's friends with WongFuProd and nigahiga, so he's sorta the same type of humour and stuff.

Those are my favourites/subscribed but I regularly watch recklesstortuga, um smosh is a funny one. There's kevjumba who goes there and I absolutely love anything that's done by WongFuProductions (who doesn't really belong in any category but I'll put them here - WongFuProductions: 3 asian guys who produces and makes music videos, short series, mini short films; they're legends really.)

Music:

- Mike Tompkins: who covers songs and makes all the music and stuff using his mouth (his facial expressions xD)
- KurtHugoSchneider: Sam Tsui is so animated.
- Gummybeargleeks[number]: posts full studio version of songs from GLEE :)

Beauty and fashion:
Okay, when I get bored and I don't really have anything to do I watch beauty and fashion tutorials just to like get ideas and you know see what girly-girls are like lmao.

- Amarixe: she has such a nice personality and she just seems nice and so honest. She has so many nail polishes and really pretty eyes! She's absolutely gorgeous.

- juicystar07 or Blair Fowler: her and her sister got really famous for doing beauty videos and the way she speaks is so fast and typically american. I watch her cos she's pretty down to earth and the things she says are totally relate-to-able.

- bubzbeauty: she gets so much slack for being asian and being her. so support her everyone! i think she's pretty great and her tips and stuff are really helpful

- michellephan: I used to like her a lot more but her makeup nowadays are way too flamboyant and almost fake, but if you watch her vlog (when she does) and her gaming (yes, shes an asian beauty that games) you can see she's great but I don't know why she like needs so much makeup.

- VanityMakeup: she's Australian so I sorta watch her cos I just wanna see what there is over here cos there's a lot of stuff that other people talk about that I can't get cos I'm down here in Australia! lol.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated! been busy! This post won't have much content because I just wanna show off my new phone LOL.

I guess I'll give it a mini-review.

So this is the Nokia N97 guys - not N97 mini and you can read up on tech specs here.
It's really pretty I guess, compared to my brick of a phone before which was the Nokia N96 (see what I did there, I actually had an actual upgrade lol).
It has been great so far, but just a little bit confusing. I like how my old phone functions, like the music player with the specialised music keys and all. I like how this is touch/keyboard but most functions you can't use the keyboard, and I don't know, it's okay. My thumbs will always be too big for qwerty keyboard phones! This is a decent size but I always feel like I'm pressing nothing, but I already pressed the key LOL. Keyboard feels like a touch sorta thing to me in that case and so it's pretty silent.

Well I'm still getting used to it so I don't have much else to report except it has a really loud camera sound and I'm trying to disable it. My old phone had it too, but the software update stuffed up, and with that, the camera sound turned off! YAY! dw, I'll try signing apps and things like that and I'll sort it out :)

A new beginning.

A new year is fast approaching and with a new year means a fresh re-start (I don't think it's a fresh 'start', if you get what I'm saying) and new challenges ahead! (Since we group challenges by year.)

I set up a lot of new things today, I guess, to kick start the new year! 2011 :)

Oh dear :(

There's two chips on my phone! The one nearest to my finger is pretty bad, and the other one's just a dent. And my phone's been stuffing up with calling/receiving calls for a few months now, oh wells, no matter cos I ordered myself a new phone today. And it's the most quickest decision I've made to buy something that's over $10. Seriously. I normally debate it out and everything! It's a Nokia N97 on the Vodafone half-price value plan! It was a bargain so I got it :) the phone's practically for free. And I'm only paying $15 per month for a year, and $29 for the rest of my plan, which is pretty good for a Nokia N97 :D.

Anyways, another thing I did was deposit a cheque from my refund, and set up a debit mastercard, which means I can buy things online and use it like a credit card, except no fees and I'm using my own money. (So it's just the new keycard - I didn't know that, I thought it was something separate, but it turns out they phased out keycards and everyone just gets a debit mastercard). Which opens up to more convenient shopping like not having to carry cash around, ebay-ing and like booking movie/festival tickets online :D.

And that's sorta my freshening up to my new year ahaha. Can't wait to get my card and my phone :)

I feel so spoilt and rich today ahaha

Sorry I missed the challenge yesterday (and I just realised I missed it the day before :( ) guys! I knew I opened my dashboard once again for a reason but after blogging twice I completely forgot about the challenge! LOL.
Sorry I haven't updated them with pictures either! because I'm never on my computer anymore (which has the episodes) I've just been using my laptop. So I'll try google some pictures for this one xD.
Well without further ado, let's get to it.

Day 27 - Saddest HIMYM Moment

In The scorpion and the toad episode, Lily comes back and she confronts Marshall and asks him for forgiveness and to take her back. But he said no because she broke his heart so badly.
And at that moment I actually cried. No other HIMYM moment has made me cry besides this one, and I just think I'm really sensitive to love and the emotions around that, so I cried :'( lol.

Day 26 - Character you most relate to

I'm deliberating who and I relate to a number of characters I guess.
I'll just name them and describe how I relate to them/how we're alike :)

Ted Mosby: Believes in love and if I get to 28 and I'm still single, I'd wanna search for 'the one'. I'm also a douchebag and I love correcting people :D.

Lily Aldren: I probably worry like she does and I wanna be a housewife/teacher like she is sorta. I can sorta relate to shopping to make her feel good, I don't do that *cough*, but I can understand! Lol. And I wanna love my future husband the way she loves Marshall :).

Marshall Eriksen: I like how he sings everything and if I could sing I would too! ahaha. I like his desire to save the environment, but I do wonder off that :(

Barney Stinson: I'm awesome. and legendary. I'm scared to drive and I don't know a thing about driving ahaha.

Robin Schber... I can't spell her surname lol: I guess I don't relate to her ahahha.

It's CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! how did yours go?? Me? I just stayed home xD ha. But that's cause I'm so tired from yesterday.

So what did you guys get for Jesus? It is, afterall, Jesus' birthday.

This year, just like last year, I got myself presents :) ahaha. It's okay, I'm still cool right? (Uhh when were you?)

Christmas 2010 mini mini-Haul :)

Anyways, I got myself some shoesssss :D:D. I've been to a couple of shoe shops and they're having sales! Everywhere! (This was 2 days ago) and I got these at Pulp and it was a buy one get 2nd pair half price deal :D even on the ALREADY discounted shoes! That's awesome, normally they restrict it to full priced items!

Booties? lol

These came in brown as well, I wanted the brown too! But they have this 'dirt mark' on the toe and heel like many shoes these days and I just don't like it so I just got black. Think they'll look great with my skinnies :)

Straw brogues? Ahaha, they're hole-y! xD

These came in different colours as well but I just got this off-white-ish colour so I can wear it with most of my dresses no matter what colour they are.

Couldn't resist polaroid`ing this :)
Together they were only $45! :D

They're not the most comfortable shoes, but I guess with a bit of wear they will be more comfortable :)

Ohhh and my first ever ebay purchase arrived yesterday! It took only TWO days to deliver! yeeeee :D

They are sooo cute :D you can get them from the ebay seller Beachrife for $5.95 ea and $2.10 p&h no matter how many items you buy from them. If you want one for yourself, here's the link (ELEMENT Makeup ID Coin Wallet Purse Shoulder Bag NEW) (since it's a shop there's always more than 10 in quantity). So yeah, they are CUTE! They are really small because my phones like a brick and it fills up like half of it but it's really good for keeping my phone/iPod snug and, like it is advertised, good for festivals if you're only bringing your phone, ID, and some money. Just adds a bit of colour and cuteness to your outfit =D.

mmm well I guess that's it for my haul :) now to my challenge! :D

I swear I said Slapsgiving like a million times. I don't know any other traditions cos here in Australia things are a bit different. We don't even have thanksgiving so... lol I'll have do think about that and I swear, when I have time, I'll rewatch it okay? :)

wow today I got out of the house at 7:40 and got home at around... 8:20?? I had 10 hours of work today!! and my legs are soreeeee as. I am so tired just sprawled over my bed and if there was a fire, I don't know if I have the strength to drag myself, this blob of soreness, out of the house.

Day 23- Worst HIMYM moment

The only moment I can think of, would be the actual moment when Lily stole Christmas. I guess because Marshall was so excited and Ted didn't mean what he said which led to it and Lily put so much effort into it and it was all gone. I wasn't even sure why Lily had that tiny tiny tiny apartment! lol.
Well anyways :) it's nearly Christmas! I hope no one steals yours :D

Hey everyone :) this post is going to be a mini haul! LOL cos I've just been in Sportsgirl alot lmao and I bought some stuff.

The first I don't have a photo of, but it's a mini Chinese takeaway box speaker and it was $8 :) and then I got another one cos it was 30% the 8 (Sportsgirl now have a take another 30% already reduced items sale).

And then I got these:

These three, I got BEFORE the extra 30% off so now I feel a bit ripped off LOL. But it was still cheap enough for me to want it. The two stretchy headbands were 95c. YEAH. 95c. And so now I think you can get it for like, 70c?? LOL which is so great because it's floral-y and pretty as! the headband underneath was $5 (so it's now $3.50) and it matches this ankle/wrist/head wrap I have.

I bought this today for $7 and I really love it. It's like a armadillo? that animal? lmao. It's called the Eileens Armour Ring Clear and it used to be $30 and I just think it's really different you know? And since I'm so clumsy, I can fully protect one finger. CHyeah. FINGER ARMOUR. LOL.

This was just a bracelet that caught my eye. I'm really loving bracelets and rings and things on my hand now cos I think I just wanna cover it up lol, but yeh this was $3.50 (y) Hopefully the clover brings me luck for the new year :)

And here are just 3 random Hello Kitty capsules/keyrings I got from turning those vending toy capsule machines in shopping centres ahahah. There's a translucent mobile charm inside that looks gel like, but is actually pretty hard inside and it's a Hello Kitty head who's expression is the same as the one on the capsule and is the same colour as the capsule. The capsule itself doubles up as a really mini money box! LOL. Orange's from Hurstville Westfield, Red's from Burwood and Blue's from Parramatta! :D ($2 per turn)

That's all I have to share with you today! Oh and don't wear flats for like 8 hours a day if you're standing/walking. My feet are sore from work today >< and then walking in the city :S. Not wearing flats to work again! ahahah. So tomorrow I'm just gonna rest up or wear really comfy shoes :D.

Hey hey! So it's day 21 of the HIMYM challenge! I realised I didn't publish my post last night :S sorry I was tired from work! But yeah :) it's still good! It's nearly the end too! and I guess I'll move onto my Glee challenge, but with that, I don't think I'll do it so regularly or something, or I'll do it on one separate page so it doesn't clog up my posts :D.

Day 21- Favorite HIMYM actor or actress

Now, I told you guys my favourite character (if I HAD to choose) is Barney... so of course my favourite actor is Neil Patrick Harris (whom I follow on twitter! (@ActuallyNPH or something, he's not hard to find)). I love his voice and he was on Glee in season 1 in the episode Dream On where he sang with Will Schuster! :D and I just love his comedic skills(?) (skills? comedic skills? lol) and I just love how he's such a good actor and has to around all those women even though he's actually gay. Jason Segel is also a great actor like in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (Omg. He was naked in that T__T), I love you man and he's in the upcoming Gulliver's Travels. But yeah, so kudos to NPH for being such a great actor/singer/comedian :D oh and he's actually good at magic tricks in real life!

And check NPH out in his Old Spice commercial and read the top rated comment! It's pretty awesome :D

Day 20- Best Robin/Ted moment

Besides the come on! moment I talked about here, the 'thing' I like most about Robin and Ted is their little salute joke. So when someone says the word colonel (kernal), general, major or corporal, they do a little salute to the thing. For example: I'm getting a major payrise *salute* Major Payrise. LOL. That's the cutest thing, except the words aren't used often so we never get to do this!

Books that aren't just for reading: gift ideas[!]

Now, as you all can tell, I haven't touched a book (besides Twilight, Harry Potter and The Princess Diaries) in a reallyyyy long time. I remember when I was actually interested in books, when I carried my tattered and torn (but treasured) Digital Fortress (From Dan Brown, the author of The Da Vinci Code which I read AFTER Digital Fortress) for a couple of days, trying to read it in between classes and at recess and lunch like a little nerd. But then, school was way too busy and the only books I was carrying around were my English prescribed and related texts and my textbooks. But lately I've found some interesting books out there - I guess I haven't noticed them before because I hardly visited bookstores and because these are high end (in other words, expensive) books. And I just wanted to share them with you because they're great gift ideas for Christmas and I just want to list them here for future reference ^^;
Yeah that's right. I'm bringing back good old text on paper. Books that aren't boring:

First off, Frankie Magazine is not just a indie fashion magazine but it's quite a read! And the back issues go up in price like petrol. I mean the 2nd last issue is now $20 on their website and you can buy your Frankie magazines at Newsagencies for $8.95. I got my first issue yesterday and I really like the pages feel and the yummy feeling it emits. So go flick through Frankie and if it's something you like, go pick it up :) Also available is the Frankie Diary 2011 and Photo Album.

A book I found cute was the Smiggle Get To It Journal which, is a bit kiddish, but for $12 we can all be kids again for once :). It's filled with little drawings which you can use to design things and its a small little book you can pop in your handbag or backpack and you can take it out when you're bored to doodle in. Every 2nd page is blank incase the ink goes through or if you just wanna draw your own things :)

Another sorta design book is pretty popular amongst girls is the My Wonderful World of Fashion scrapbook. And in it are like different patterns and outlines of clothes and stuff for you to design your own and keep your ideas in. It's quite a large book though, and it can be a little more pricey :D

I found that the Typo store in the new Westfield on Pitt St. sold these Listography books and there's one for music, life, 2011 in lists, and a couple more and if you have a really close group of friends you can pass it around and people can lists what they like or you can add things over the years and see how your tastes have changed. I think the texture of the books are great and it really gets you thinking and it is great to share with your friends. They're not only available at Typo so have a look around for them if you're interested (or love lists, like I do! :D). An iPhone app is also available, and take a look at the website for more info.

First off, happy 2 years to my beloved bf :). 2 years is a pretty long time for us, and like there was so many ups and downs, but in the end it will work out. If it's not okay, then it's not the end.
Feel sorry for our friends that are confused about of status from our breaks and all that but yeah :) we're the classic examples of teenage love I guess; but I won't say it's a bad thing. Well anyways, to the challenge:

No idea. lol. I just remember the yellow umbrella (Stella?) and the ankle at Rachel Bilson's apartment. Nothing special.

Day 15- Favorite life lesson

I really like deal about Nothing good happens after 2am rule (season 1) and I would want to prove it wrong one day ahahaha. But I also like The Platinum Rule: Never ever love thy neighbour. Like don't crap where you eat. Don't .. hmm I don't have another metaphor for that LOL. But if you ask me, I don't really like the Three Days Rule. I don't think that works. Call them whenever you feel like, if they don't like what you feel like then how will you ever be comfortable around them? If you waited 3 days to call me, I'd probably think that you didn't care and that I'm ranked last and there's 3 days worth of things on your priorities list above me. But that's just me :)
